PORTLAND, Ore. — Oregon will go again before the same federal judge who blocked President Donald Trump's attempt to deploy the Oregon National Guard in Portland and ask that California National Guard troops be sent home as well, state leaders said in a Sunday press conference.

Attorney General Dan Rayfield said that his office would be amending the existing lawsuit to add the state of California as a complainant, filing a new request for a temporary restraining order which could block guard units from other states, in addition to Oregon. He said they hope to have a hearing as soon as Monday.
