A curfew and an internet ban were established in Odisha’s Cuttack following incidents of violence on Sunday, followed by a previous group clash during the Durga idol immersion procession. The police had stated that the orders would be effective for 36 hours from 10 PM on Sunday, while the internet and social media suspension was for 24 hours across large parts of Cuttack city.
