WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (WMTV) - Animal rescue groups across Wisconsin are caring for hundreds of animals after what they describe as a large-scale rescue near Wisconsin Dells.
Becky Brown, founder of Brown Paws Rescue in Edgerton, said her organization was contacted to take in several dogs from an overcrowded property. She said conditions described to her by volunteers on site were heartbreaking.

“It’s just really super sad, especially when you see the conditions they’re in,” Brown said. “There’s nobody in the world that can take care of that many animals. I think it was 350-plus, not all dogs, but it’s just sad. It’s
