AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Firefighters battled a fire at a local Wendy’s Sunday afternoon.

According to a release from the Akron Fire Department, crews responded to the Wendy’s on Mogadore Road

When firefighters arrived, everyone was out of the building. There were no injuries, according to the release.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire.

The release did not say what caused the fire.

19 News reached out to Wendy’s to see when the restaurant would reopen. We have not yet heard back.
