CLEVELAND (WJW) – Tuesday will mark two years since Hamas forces carried out a series of attacks in Israel, which killed more than 1,200 people and sparked the war in Gaza.

On Sunday, the local Jewish Community gathered to pray for the victims and demand the release of the remaining hostages.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland hosted an interfaith memorial at Landerhaven on Sunday afternoon.

One of the featured speakers is a woman who survived the attack while attending a festival in Israel.

Yahel Lifshitz said she is still trying to process the traumatic events of that horrific day and is praying for everyone impacted.
