US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday (local time) hailed the coalition of Arab nations brought together by President Donald Trump, crediting it for helping move towards an end to the ongoing Gaza conflict. Taking to X, Rubio shared a post saying the alliance was not formed for political gain but to take on a group he described as terrorists.
“We’re not dealing with a political movement, we’re dealing with killers, savages, and terrorists," he wrote. “But what gives us hope is the coalition US President Donald Trump built that is pushing in the same direction with us to get the hostages released and the conflict resolved."
