SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - South Dakota State women’s soccer extended its unbeaten streak on Sunday with a convincing 2-0 victory over North Dakota State at Fishback Soccer Park.

The Jackrabbits dominated possession in the opening half.

After registering the first six shots of the game, SDSU’s seventh put the Jacks ahead on the scoreboard.

SDSU freshman Jenna Maloy ran past the NDSU back line on a deep pass from defender Lauren Eckerle.

She gathered the ball at her feet at the top of the box and booted a shot past the incoming Bison keeper, giving the Jackrabbits a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute.

The Jackrabbits took the 1-0 edge into halftime and held on to that tally for a majority of the second half.
