Chetan Bhagat, a celebrated author, has dismissed fears that Artificial Intelligence (AI) and language tools threaten the writing profession, particularly fiction.

Speaking at his book launch in Pune, Bhagat said, 'AI lacks the depth of human emotion necessary for storytelling. Fiction builds on authentic, lived experiences.'

He added, 'AI models can manage tasks, but can't capture genuine emotion. Despite technological advancements, readers seek stories rooted in human connection,' Bhagat concluded, dismissing AI's potential impact on creativity.
