KINGMAN, Ariz. — A Nevada family is seeking answers after their loved one was found dead more than 100 miles away from home in the Arizona desert.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, 57-year-old Carolyn Ann Bosher’s remains were found in a large cardboard box near Windmill Ranch Road east of Kingman on Sept. 5.
“I still can’t wrap my head around it,” Bosher’s sister, who asked not to be identified, told 12News. “It was horrifying, and I didn’t want to believe that that was my sister they found in a box.”
Detectives are still investigating who killed Bosher, but believe she was killed elsewhere and left in the desert.
A witness told police they saw a car with its trunk open in the area the night before, but it was too dark to identify.
“Whoever it is needs to be caught,”
