A woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday on the Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar was identified as a 35-year-old.

The Medical Examiner’s office reported that Rosa Mejia was pronounced dead at the scene. Her city of residence was not disclosed.

The crash occurred about 3:15 a.m. Sunday on the northbound freeway just south of the Pomona (60) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location at 3:15 a.m. extricated Mejia from a vehicle at 3:25 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer.

A Sigalert, issued at 3:40 a.m., closing all northbound lanes of the 57 Freeway, and was canceled about 20 minutes later.
