According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, firefighters were dispatched for a vehicle accident with extraction at around 9:45 p.m. at 10221 Jackson Road. When crews arrived, they found a pickup truck with one adult male inside the vehicle.
Metro Fire said the victim was extricated from the vehicle and was transported to the hospital with an unknown extent of injuries.
The California Highway Patrol Traffic Log shows that at this time, the road in both directions is closed to allow officers to investigate.
