The actor opened up about his father’s relationship with Rajesh Khanna and how the legendary actor’s rivalry with Amitabh Bachchan caused him significant financial losses.

Recalling the moment he saw his father take his last breath, Rajat shared, “He died in front of my eyes. I came from school and he came out of the room and collapsed in front of me.” When asked how his father’s health deteriorated, Rajat explained, “He had become an alcoholic, he got into depression. He was doing very well but my grandfather had some liabilities of films and my father was taking care of that.”
