SRINAGAR : The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday attached the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Shah, with the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, pending an inquiry into undisclosed matters. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to the Government Order No. 620-JK (Edu) of 2025 issued by the School Education Department, Shah has been relieved of his duties in Baramulla and directed to report to the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, with immediate effect.

The order further states that the Chief Education Officer, Bandipora, shall hold the additional charge of the post of CEO Baramulla as well as the Principal of DIET Sopore, Baramulla, till further orders.
