Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday inaugurated the 69th National School Games–2025 at TRC Stadium, Srinagar.

Over 4,000 student-athletes from different states and union territories of the country are taking part in the multi-sport event, featuring disciplines such as Football, Wushu, Taekwondo, and Table Tennis.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister commended the efforts of the Youth Services and Sports Department for organizing the national-level event with meticulous planning and enthusiasm.

“The participation of thousands of young athletes from across the nation is a reflection of India’s vibrant sporting spirit. Our youth are the real ambassadors of unity and progress,” the Chief Minister said, extending best wishes to all participants.
