Tata Capital Ltd's Initial Public Offering (IPO) garnered a 20% subscription rate on its opening day of bids. The IPO saw bids for 6,83,01,122 shares against the 33,34,36,996 on offer, based on NSE data as of 1151 hours.

Qualified Institutional Buyers' (QIB) quota was subscribed to 29%, Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) drew 19%, and non-institutional investors got a 12% subscription rate. On Friday, Tata Capital raised Rs 4,642 crore from 68 institutional investors globally and domestically, with a demanding anchor book almost five times the allocated shares.
