AAP Rajya Sabha nominee Rajinder Gupta calls on Manish Sisodia

Chandigarh, October 6, 2025: Rajinder Gupta, recently announced as the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) nominee for the Rajya Sabha, held a key meeting today in Chandigarh with senior party leader and Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia.

Gupta, a well-known industrialist and philanthropist, met Sisodia at a time when AAP is focused on consolidating its political base in Punjab.

According to party sources, the meeting revolved around Gupta’s future role and responsibilities as a Rajya Sabha member. Discussions also included strategies to advance AAP’s national agenda and effectively raise Punjab-specific issues in Parliament.
