Deepti Sharma , Team India all-rounder, was awarded the best fielder medal in India's decisive 88-run win against Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday during the 2025 Women's World Cup match. Wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh, who won the award in the tournament opener, presented the medal to Deepti. Her direct hit resulted in Muneeba Ali's run out when the batter's bat was in the air after initially grounding it. Deepti contributed to India's victory with 20 wickets and scored three runs from 45 balls. India posted 247 runs and secured their 12th ODI win against Pakistan by dismissing them for 159.
