PETOSKEY — Emmet County will be hosting three community feedback events this month as they prepare an update to their master plan.
According to county officials, the master plan is a long-term policy document that sets goals for how the county will develop over the next 5-10 years. The plan is used by elected officials, staff, residents and others to guide decision-making on how land is used, where new developments should go, what new infrastructure is needed and other important questions.
Upcoming feedback sessions are scheduled for:
5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at McKinley Township Hall
5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9 at Readmond Township Hall
10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 11 in the North Central Michigan College Library Conference Room
