New Delhi: In a historic moment for Pakistan in the ICC Women’s World Cup, opener Sidra Ameen made history by smashing Pakistan’s first-ever six against India in ODIs. Ameen achieved this landmark during the 18th over of Pakistan’s chase at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Against off-spinner Sneh Rana, Sidra stepped out of the crease and smashed the ball over long-on. Clearing the ropes by several feet, it was a rare moment in an otherwise one-sided rivalry between the two sides.
