West Coast list boss Matt Clarke says it’s up to St Kilda to offer a sufficient trade for Liam Ryan, with the Eagles more than happy to hold on to their contracted premiership forward who they say is “not disgruntled with the club at all”.

Ryan has requested a move to the Saints after kicking 158 goals in 125 games despite having a year to run on his contract.

It comes as St Kilda loom as one of the most active club’s in this year’s trade period, already adding Carlton stars Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni through free agency.

They are targeting Gold Coast midfielder Sam Flanders and have been linked to several other players in recent months.

West Coast have been long adamant that Ryan, 29, is still a required player at the Eagles under coach Andrew McQualter.
