Decatur Police have charged a man with murder in connection with a Saturday shooting death.

Nathan Aldridge was charged Oct. 4 in the slaying of Mason Cullison earlier that day, police said in a statement.

Both were residents of a home on the 1900 block of Mud Tavern Road Southwest. Officers were called to the scene and found Cullison with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Aldridge was questioned at the scene.

“Aldridge was ultimately charged with murder and was transported to the Morgan County Jail,” police said. “He is being held without bond per Aniah’s law.”
