This win marked India’s 12th consecutive success over Pakistan in One Day Internationals, propelling them to the top of the group table with four points.

However, former India captain and commentator Anjum Chopra warned the team against becoming complacent, highlighting that tougher challenges lie ahead.

After the match, Chopra commended India’s performance but emphasised the need for reflection and improvement before facing stronger opponents later in the tournament.
