The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) officially entered Bihar’s political fray on Monday, announcing its plan to contest all 243 assembly seats in the upcoming state elections. The party also unveiled the first list of 11 candidates, signalling a serious attempt to replicate the governance model that has defined its successes in Delhi and Punjab.
Delhi model, Bihar ambition
Addressing a press conference, AAP’s Bihar in-charge Ajesh Yadav highlighted the party’s confidence in its governance record. “We have an approved model of growth and governance. The work done by the Aam Aadmi Party is being discussed across the country. People from the Purvanchal region contributed immensely to our victory in Delhi,” he said.
