The finish line is within sight for OKPOP.
The yet-to-open Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture must raise $18 million by Nov. 15 to access an identical amount appropriated by the state Legislature last year.
A news release, issued before the calendar page turned to October, said a transformational $500,000 gift has brought a fundraising campaign to 91% of its goal.
