The Election Commission on Monday announced that bypolls will be held in as many as eight constituencies across 7 states and Union Territories along with the assembly elections in Bihar.
Bihar will go to polls in two phases on November 6 and 11.
The bypolls in all eight constituencies will be held along with the second phase of polling Bihar. The results will be declared on November 14.
According to the EC announcement, bypolls will be held in Budgam (J&K), Nagrota (J&K), Anta (Rajasthan), Ghatsila (Jharkhand), Telangana (Jubilee Hills), Tarn Taran (Punjab), Dampa (Mizoram) and Nuapada (Odisha).
While bypolls are being held in Budgam due to the resignation of Omar Abdullah, who contested from two seats, Nagrota will see polling due to the death of Devender Singh Rana. Bypolls in all ot
