BBC Breakfast shared some sad news with viewers earlier today (October 6), after it was confirmed a sporting legend has been diagnosed with an incurable condition.
Sally Nugent, 54, who was co-hosting the show with Jon Kay shared that former England Rugby Union Captain, Lewis Moody, has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND).
The NHS has defined MND as a condition which "causes muscle weakness that gets worse over a few months or years.
"It's usually life-shortening and there's currently no cure, but treatment can help manage the symptoms."
