Sunday is the last night of the Tulsa State Fair.
More than 200 single-parent families got to spend the day enjoying themselves with catered food and free admission, thanks to a Tulsa church.
The families say that without this program, they probably wouldn’t have been able to take their kids to the State Fair and have had the full experience.
The Tulsa State Fair is an experience many families don’t want to miss out on.
But not everyone can afford to go every year.
“Things are getting really expensive the last four years and stuff, so it really helps us to be able to come, the single moms in the church or other people that just need extra help, to be able to come and get into the fair for free, and we ride the bus,” said Maryanne Tiger.
That’s where Victory Church steps in.
