This Morning star Ben Shephard told those working behind the scenes on the programme to ‘cut the feed’ after being left ‘really worried’ about one of his co-stars.

It was a busy morning for the presenter and his co-host Cat Deeley on Monday morning (October 6) as the ITV programme returned for another week.

Early on in the episode, the pair stopped the show to pay tribute to the late Dame Jilly Cooper after news of the Rivals author's death broke.

Jilly’s children Felix and Emily confirmed that their mum died at the age of 88 on Sunday (October 5) after suffering a fall, calling her the ‘shining light in all of our lives’.
