ROCHESTER, Minn. – An armed man was arrested Saturday after he was reported to be acting strangely.

The Rochester Police Department says officers were called to the Kiwk Trip in the 1900 block of South Broadway at around 4:30 pm. A man with a handgun had been reported behaving oddly and making an “alarming comment.”

Police say they found Becker, 31, about a half-hour later and discovered a stolen handgun in his hotel room.

Becker was booked into the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center on charges of threats of violence and illegal possession of a firearm.
