GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) -- During the month of October, Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) officers will wear pink badges as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This initiative is designed to show solidarity with breast cancer patients, survivors and their families and to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and treatment.
“Wearing pink badges is a visible reminder of our department’s support for those in our community who are fighting this disease and those who have overcome it,” said GCPD Chief Scott Ebner. “It is also a way for us to honor the lives touched by breast cancer and to remind everyone about the significance of awareness, prevention, and hope.”
