CHICAGO — A man died after a shooting in Brighton Park early Monday.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot at around 3 a.m. in the 3900 block of South Archer.
Police believe a 33-year-old man was involved in a verbal altercatation with a male. The 33-year-old was shot twice in the chest during the altercation, according to police.
He was transported to Mt. Sinai in critical condition. He later died at the hospital.
A weapon was recovered at the scene. No one is in custody.
