On a hillside overlooking the James River sits a large silo that seems out of place at the edge of Daniel’s Hill.

Silo on the James marks the newest Airbnb property of All Belong Co owners Amy and Marc Corbett. The Corbetts own the train caboose just across C Street as well.

Situated at the end of the narrow street right where water cascades over a low dam, the two-story silo is a quirky addition to the couple’s short-term rental properties.

The idea began after the Corbetts opened the train caboose in 2023 as a unique stay, and it attracted enough visitors to be named “most wish-listed Airbnb in Virginia,” Amy Corbett said.

The response made the couple start to ponder what to do with the empty lot across the street.
