EXCLUSIVE: Mattel Studios’ Polly Pocket movie with Amazon MGM Studios continues to move forward to the big screen now with screenwriters Jordan Weiss and Dan Brier penning the script, and Reese Witherspoon ’s Hello Sunshine co-developing the Lily Collins -led live action feature take of the popular micro-doll toys.

Previously it was announced that 8x Primetime Emmy nominee Lena Dunham was directing and writing back in June 2021. The Girls architect and star revealed in a New Yorker interview in July 2024 she was no longer attached.

Emily in Paris star Collins remains attached to play the titular role with her Case Study Films producing.
