Dr. Phil McGraw has sealed a key carriage deal for his recently launched Envoy TV as he continues to navigate a legal thicket with his previous venture, Main Street Media.

Envoy Media Co., which debuted several months ago, and Spectrum parent Charter Communications announced a long-term distribution deal for Envoy TV on Monday. The agreement will put the network on Spectrum TV Select video packages starting in October. Charter is the No. 1 cable operator in the U.S., with 12.6 million subscribers in 41 states, including top markets New York, Los Angeles and Dallas-Fort Worth.

As Main Street has gone through a bankruptcy proceeding, McGraw has also filed a breach of contract lawsuit against former partner Trinity Broadcasting.
