A popular German power metal band was quite shaken up when multiple members suddenly left the group, all at the same time.

The band has gotten back on its feet, though, and has been born anew with both a new album and a fresh lineup .

During a recent interview with Blabbermouth , Ralf Scheepers — co-founding member and vocalist for Esslingen-formed group Primal Fear — discussed that time in 2023 when guitarists Tom Naumann and Alex Beyrodt, along with drummer Michael Ehré and bassist Alex Jansen, left the band.

Publications such as Metal Injection extensively covered the split, especially considering the departing members left Scheepers and other co-founding member Mat Sinner as the sole remaining Primal Fear members.
