Popular weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy are now available at more than 500 Costco pharmacies across the United States. Novo Nordisk, the company that produces both brands of the semaglutide medication, announced the collaboration on X last week.
According to the post, Costco members with a prescription for the injectable pen will pay $499 out of pocket for a four-week supply — a cost that is about half of the list price for Ozempic, and about two-thirds less than that of Wegovy .
Drug information is already listed on Costco’s website , which explains that executive members and Citibank credit card holders will also get a cash back reward as part of the chain’s prescription program. Those same shoppers will get an additional 2% discount on their purchase, Novo Nordisk said.
