New Delhi: India A defeated Australia A by two wickets in a thriller in the final third unofficial ODI at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Sunday to clinch the three-match series 2-1. India A rode on a brilliant 104-run knock from opener Prabhsimran Singh and cracking half-centuries from skipper Shreyas Iyer (62) and Riyan Parag (62) to chase down the tricky target of 318 runs and secure a nail-biting win.

The three-match unofficial ODI series was a chance for the India A players to showcase their skills and talent against a quality Australia A team, and a number of players grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Several youngsters managed to turn heads with their performance for India A and played their part in the team’s 2-1 series victory.
