SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A man is in custody after a stabbing and assault near downtown Sioux Falls.

Allen Lehne, 61, of Sioux Falls, was arrested after stabbing a 21-year-old victim near the 800 block of West Bailey.

On Sunday afternoon, the 21-year-old victim was in a parking lot when Lehne pulled up in a vehicle and began following the victim.

Lehne reportedly was saying statements like: “Give me the money you owe me.”

The victim and Lehne then got into a physical altercation that resulted in the victim being stabbed once in the torso.

Lehne got back into his vehicle and fled the scene.

He was located in rural Harrisburg and taken into custody by Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies.
