New Delhi, Oct 6: India’s dynamic wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is inching closer to a return to competitive cricket, with his sights set on representing Delhi in the upcoming 2025/26 Ranji Trophy later this month. His participation, however, hinges on a final medical clearance from the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, where he has been undergoing intensive rehab and training since mid-September.
Sources indicate that Pant, who turned 28 recently, has shown remarkable progress in his recovery from a metatarsal fracture sustained during the England Test series in July.
