BENGALURU: The Education Department has extended the deadline for the social, educational, and economic survey in Karnataka. The survey, which was initially supposed to end on October 7, has been extended until October 12, and in Bengaluru, it has been extended until October 24 due to the delayed start in the city.
The department has instructed schools to conduct classes from 8 am to 1 pm and later on, conduct the survey in the afternoon. So far, the survey has covered 1.15 crore households out of 1.43 crore, with 4.32 crore people included in the survey. On Monday, 52,345 houses have been surveyed with a total of 1.36 lakh houses have been surveyed in Bengaluru earlier, taking the total number of houses surveyed to 2.60 lakh.
