But Canadian prog rockers Rush are hitting the road again, Variety reported.

The announcement comes five years after the death of drummer and lyricist Neal Peart and just months after surviving and founding band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson had said that a reunion tour was not in the cards.

Taking the place of Peart, one of the greatest drummers in music history, will be Anika Nilles, a German composer and producer who has worked with Jeff Beck. She has also released four solo albums.

The tour, dubbed “Fifty Something,” will kick off with shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on June 7 and 9, 2026.

That venue hosted Rush’s final performances in 2018.
