President Donald Trump announced that the UFC's live event at the White House will be held next year on June 14.

Trump shared the date, which happens to be his 80th birthday, during an address in Norfolk, Virginia, on Sunday.

"On June 14, next year, we're going to have a big UFC fight at the White House, right at the White House grounds," Trump said.

The UFC itself has not yet confirmed a date for the event.

UFC CEO Dana White said in August that the fighting event would be held outside the White House on the Fourth of July to celebrate 250 years of American independence.

“It’s absolutely going to happen," White told The Associated Press at the time. “Think about that, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, the UFC will be on the White House south lawn live on CBS.
