The Celtics are one week into training camp. Their preseason tips off Wednesday night in Memphis. The Oct. 22 season opener is fast approaching.

Before we get our first look at Boston’s new-look roster in a game setting, here are five takeaways from Celtics camp thus far:

It’s no secret. Nearly every player on the roster has said Boston is playing at a frenetic pace in training camp — and plans to do the same when the regular season begins.

Xavier Tillman compared it to a “NASCAR pit stop.” Payton Pritchard said the Celtics know they “need to play a lot faster.” As Derrick White put it, they’re going to “get out, run (and) try to wear teams down.”

“Essentially, we just want to play so fast and so aggressive that the other team just can’t keep up,” Josh Minott said. “That’s what we want
