On Oct. 1, Wilmington College welcomed 100 students to its annual professional development event, Night for Young Professionals. This event was hosted at the college farm and was sponsored by Ohio Soybean Council and Ohio’s soybean farmers.
This year’s theme was “Plant, Pitch, & Prosper” which encouraged students to plant their introduction through elevator speech practice, pitch their story through a round of speed interviews, and prosper with opportunities through networking. Students also had the opportunity to get their resumes reviewed by industry professionals and a headshot taken by alumna, Megan Roell. This hands-on experience event prepares students with the necessary skills to succeed in their future careers.
