Strictly Come Dancing’s Katya Jones has addressed the judges comments as she defended her dance partner Lewis Cope amid criticism.

Professional Dancer Katya, 36, and Emmerdale actor Lewis, 30, were back on the dancefloor for the BBC series’ second live show on Saturday night (October 4).

Dancing the Viennese Waltz to Lose Control by Teddy Swims, the pair were given a score of 27 from the judges, leaving them second in the overall leaderboard.

While they avoided the dance-off which resulted in Thomas Skinner , 34, and 35-year-old Amy Dowden’s exit, the judges had some critiques for Lewis.

Anton Du Beke said that while the performance was ‘raw power’, he’d like to see a little more ‘refinement’ going forward.
