PARK RAPIDS, Minn. (KVRR) — A husband and wife in Park Rapids, Minnesota are jailed after a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Hubbard County deputies responded to a call of an adult male and his 5-year-old daughter screaming for help outside a trailer home in Straight River Township outside of Park Rapids.

Deputies say 49-year-old David Kerr had been stabbed 8 to 10 times allegedly by 44-year-old Charles Justus.

He told investigators he believed Kerr had an affair with his wife, 50-year-old Danielle Westphal.

She admitted to helping her husband dispose of his bloody clothing.

Kerr was airlifted to a Fargo hospital where his condition is unknown.

Justus is charged with first-degree intent to murder and second-degree unpremeditated murder.
