The family of Brittany and Jared Laginski planted a lifelong friend at Gray’s Creek Conservation Area on Saturday morning.
The Kemptville couple agreed they would try to bring their children, Willow, 5, Evie, 3 and Jack, 18 months, back often to visit the white pine seedling.

Asked what the tree’s name might be, Willow quickly answered, “Cullen.”
And a middle name?
“How about Jack Pine,” Jared said, adding his son’s name and a suitable surname.
As an employee of TD Canada Trust, Brittany Laginski joined her family with dozens of other participants in the annual TD Tree Days to partner with the Raisin Region Conservation Authority.
