A Scottish national who was detained by Israeli authorities on a humanitarian mission to Gaza has returned home.
Margaret Pacetta, 70, was part of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) , which tried to break Israel's sea blockade of the war-torn region with over 40 boats and around 500 people on board.
The grandmother, from Glasgow, was one of four Scots detained in international waters on October 1 and 2. She was deported to Turkey on Saturday with eight other UK nationals and arrived back on a chartered flight from Istanbul on Monday evening.
However, the status of the other Scots — Jim Hickey, Saddaqat Khan, and Yvonne Ridley — has yet to be confirmed.
