MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man has turned himself in to Mobile police in connection with an August shooting.

According to Mobile Police Department officials, 22-year-old Derrick Williams-McGlasker turned himself in on Oct. 6.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of St. Stephens Road around 3 a.m. on Aug. 31 for a report of a fight in the middle of the road, according to a news release.

INCIDENT LOCATION

Officers responded to the scene and found that shots were fired during the fight, and two men were injured. The men had been taken to a local hospital before officers arrived.

Four vehicles, including an MPD vehicle, were hit with gunfire.

On Sept. 5, 19-year-old Akil Pleasant was arrested in connection with the shooting.
