FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The man accused of killing his father in Seekonk in 2021 was convicted on Monday, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III.
24-year-old Joseph “JD” Housley, II, of Rehoboth, was convicted of first-degree murder.
According to Quinn, Housley Jr. was found guilty of shooting and killing his father, Joseph Housley , inside an apartment on Forsythe Circle in Seekonk in July of 2021.
Christopher Heron, a co-defendant, was convicted of second-degree murder in connection to the shooting death and sentenced to life in prison with a possible parole eligibility at 18 years.
Housley Jr. is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 1.
